RULES & REGULATIONS OF PARTICIPATION
1. Participation : Application for participation is to be made in the prescribed form. Approval of participation and exhibits will be at the sole discretion of IPAMA.

2. Minimum Space Booking : Minimum is 15 Sq. Mtrs. for Shell and 75 Sq. Mtrs. for Bare Space.

3. Catalogue Entry : Catalogue Entry is free.

4. Payment Schedule :
Booking Amount : 10% of space rental
1st Installment : 30% of space rental by 30th June, 2008
2nd Installment : 30% of space rental by 30th September, 2008
Full & final Payment by 29th November, 2008.
The Exhibitor shall not be entitled to withhold any payment in whole or in part on the ground that it has a claim, counterclaim or set-off against IPAMA.
Priority number will be allocated only after 50% payment received.
Service Tax, as applicable, Payable Extra.

5. Cancellation by Exhibitor : In the event, that the exhibitor:
i) cancels its space booking; or
ii) fails to meet any of the payments obliga tions (whether as to the amounts due or dates of payment); or
iii) fails to occupy space allotted to it by the opening time on the 1st day of the Exhibition.

Then IPAMA reserves the right to treat the booking as cancelled and apply the following cancellation charges:

i) upto midnight 18th March 2008, 40% of total charge.
ii) upto 18th June 2008, 70% of total charge.
iii) upto 18th September 2008, 100% of total charge. Not withstanding that IPAMA may re-sell or re-allocate the cancelled Space after cancellation by the Exhibitor, IPAMA shall be under no obligation to reimburse all or any part of cancellation charge.

6. Allocation of Space : Space allocation will be done by IPAMA on first-come-first served basis, only on receipt of duly completed application form along with 50% payment. Space will be allotted to participants only. No subletting allowed. Decision of IPAMA will be final and binding.

7. Possession of Space: Possession of Space will be given only on receipt of full payment, including licence fee, electricity and water charges etc. Possession will be given 3 days before the opening of the exhibition. Display will have to be completed 12 hours before opening of the exhibition.

8. Construction of Stand : The interior design of the stand will have to be within the architectural controls specified by ITPO. Interior design will have to be approved by the Architect of ITPO before undertaking actual construction.
Participants will not be allowed to use passages inside the Hall or space outside the Hall for construction and painting work of stand and for storage of exhibits. ITPO has the right to levy penalty in such cases or to recover damages. Work regarding construction of stands will be permitted only within the area allotted.
Use of any type of Loudspeakers or Musical Instruments inside the stall, causing noise above 60 decibels (dB), which may cause annoyance to other exhibitors/visitors, is strictly forbidden.
Participants will be responsible for removal of waste material at least 24 hours before the opening of the exhibition. Cleanliness and maintenance of stand will be the responsibility of the participants.

9. Operation of Stand : No stand will be left unattended during the exhibition. Staff of participants must be present at least one hour before opening of the exhibition. No activity which in the opinion of ITPO amounts to nuisance or annoyance will be caused by the participants. IPAMA shall have the right to take remedial action in such cases.
Exhibits must not obstruct passages. Fire extinguishers, cable terminals for phone connection, outlets for electricity and water must not be obstructed.

10. Vacation of Space : Space will have to be vacated within 2 days of the close of the exhibition, failing which, participants will be required to pay penalty as prescribed by ITPO and ITPO will have the right to remove the exhibits / materials etc., of participants at the risk and cost of participants. Storage of exhibits in the open area will not be permitted after the closure of the exhibition and will attract penal rent of Rs. 55/- per Sq. Mtr. per day.

11. Storage of Empty Cases : Empty cases will not be allowed to be kept anywhere in Pragati Maidan. These will have to be removed at least 24 hours before the opening of the exhibition, failing which, ITPO will have the right to confiscate them.

12. Security : ITPO will make the general security arrangements. However, participants will be responsible for the security of their exhibits and stall. They will make security arrangements of their stalls through Security Agencies approved by ITPO.

13. Fire Prevention : Participants will keep and maintain fire fighting equipment within their stalls as per safety regulations.

14. Insurance : Participants will insure their exhibits, display material, against loss, damage, theft, fire or any cause whatsoever. They will also obtain 3rd Party insurance cover for construction period, exhibition period and dismantling period.

15. Service Agencies : Work of cargo handling, clearance of exhibits, construction of stand, decoration, furniture, photo coverage, video coverage, plant supplies and catering etc., can be availed by the participants only from those contractors who are registered with ITPO. No other contractors will be allowed to provide service in Pragati Maidan.

16. Entry to / Exit from Pragati Maidan for Exhibitors: Entry into Pragati Maidan of representatives of participants will be on the basis of exhibitor passes. 4 passes will be given for a minimum of 15 Sq. Mtr. and two additional passes will be admissible on each additional 15 Sq. Mtr. space.

17. Movement of Exhibits: Entry of vehicles in Pragati Maidan will not be permitted during exhibi tion hours. Vehicles carrying exhibits etc., can be allowed to come in Pragati Maidan upto 9.30 a.m. and after 6.30 p.m. with the prior approval of Chief Security Officer, ITPO. Exit permit will be required for taking out any material out of Pragati Maidan during the exhibition period, before and after exhibition timings. Exit Permits will be issued by IPAMA only in genuine cases. No exhibits / cases / display material will be allowed to be taken out of Pragati Maidan without an Exit Permit. Exit Permit will be issued by IPAMA on production of clearance certificate, a day after closure of the exhibition.

18. Car Parking : No car parking will be allowed within Pragati Maidan. Car / Vehicles will be parked in parking areas only.

19. Violation of Rules : In the event of violation of these rule(s), IPAMA for its participants shall have the right to close down the stall of the participant, immediately.

20. Interpretation: Regarding interpretation of these rules and regulations the decision of CMD, ITPO or his/her nominee shall be final and binding on the participation.

21. Disputes : Disputes, if any, arising out of participation in this exhibition shall fall within the jurisdiction of the Courts in Delhi / New Delhi.

22. Force Majeure : Under the conditions of force majeure, which also includes strike, lock-out, bandh or riot, ITPO reserves the right to alter the opening dates and duration or even cancellation of the entire Exhibition. In case of cancellation of the Exhibition, the stall rental will be refunded to the exhibitors after deducting the proportionate costs already incurred by ITPO / IPAMA.
